Team Fashionista has been firmly of the belief that former One Directioner Harry Styles belongs in a Gucci campaign for a long time. We've been so firmly of this belief, in fact, that we've written about it at least three times since 2015. And can you really blame us? The man has been known to rock a patterned Gucci suit with admirable aplomb on more than one occasion, whether to perform onstage at "SNL" or to appear in editorial shoots for magazines like Another Man and Rolling Stone. Every time, his androgynous style and willingness to try something a little out there (we see you, hot pink pussy bow) has shown him to be a natural match for the fantastical world created by Gucci's Alessandro Michele.
But just in case you thought Styles only made sense in Gucci when getting all gussied up for a big appearance or photo shoot, his airport look from today is here to prove you wrong. Styles showed up in Paris wearing a classic Gucci logo hoodie with skinny black jeans, suede camel-colored boots and a brown suede jacket slung over one shoulder. The look was low-maintenance and likely very comfortable, as the best airport looks always are. Styles even used his sunglasses to hold his brown locks out of his eyes, headband-like, to further demonstrate his nonchalance about the look. In short: Harry's just as adept at repping Gucci when keeping things low-key as he is onstage or on the cover of a magazine. Are you listening yet, Alessandro?
