Since it's inception in 2009, eco-friendly, made-in-Los Angeles label Reformation has arguably become the fashion set's top destination for cute, accessibly priced dresses that are vintage-inspired, sweet, sexy or some combination of all three. Their breezy pieces dominate Instagram in the summer months, thanks to their legions of influential fans like Karlie Kloss, Taylor Swift, Emily Ratajkowski and Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, as well as an expanding brick-and-mortar presence (Ref has locations in New York, LA and San Francisco, and has popped up in London and Miami).
On Thursday, Reformation added another key summer staple to its offering: swimwear. (No, we can't believe it took this long, either.) In the label's true fashion, the silhouettes — which include mix-and-match separates as well as one-pieces — are retro and made from recycled fabrics, and as its typically colloquial copywriting points out, the designers knew that the fit should not only cater to the Instababes and supermodels of the world. "We get bloated, we get sand in weird places, we sweat, we have nip-slips, we oddly don't enjoy smelling like self-tanner and we didn't have time to book that wax — or maybe we just didn't want to," reads a press release accompanying the launch. To which we say: preach!
Whether you're in the market for a full-coverage bikini set, a sporty maillot or a flirty '60s-era number that would perfectly complement your Instagram posts from the Amalfi Coast, you can satisfy all of your swimwear needs at Reformation for under $168.
