Ahead of Thursday evening's Dior Cruise 2018 show in Los Angeles, the brand hosted a beachy, surfer-themed "welcome dinner" for a group of celebrities and — you guessed it! — influencers on Wednesday. As could be expected, plenty of fashion people turned up in their finest Dior pieces from designer Maria Grazia Chirui's latest collections.
Artsy feminist BFFs Cleo Wade and Mia Moretti (shown above) wore Dior's "We Should All Be Feminists" T-shirt and a red leather jacket from the label, respectively. Both also accessorized accordingly, with Dior bags and shoes. Jaime King was the one soul brave enough to don one of the berets worn by every model on the label's Fall 2017 runway, while Kiernan Shipka went for an adorably Gen-Z-appropriate velvet hoodie-and-choker combo that somehow still looked understatedly chic (because, Kiernan Shipka).
Meanwhile, Juno Temple and Freida Pinto bundled up (is Malibu also experiencing an unseasonably cold spring?) in Dior velvet and wool coats. In-between seasons like resort call for transitional dressing, after all.
