On Tuesday, the 29-year-old actress attended an Emmys "For Your Consideration" screening of her HBO series "Westworld" in North Hollywood, wearing a slim-cut blazer and pants — hold the shirt — by the young American designer (who doubles as Lady Gaga's "fashion director").
And sure, we've seen the whole bare-chested-lady-suit-thing before (pretty sure that's its technical term) — but there's something especially cool about ERW's 'fit. For one, it's tailored to perfection. The jacket's got this neat kick-flip thing happening in the back, low-key peacock style. And I kinda love that she and her stylist, Samantha McMillen (who also dresses Cannes princess Elle Fanning), and her hair-man John D. went with sleek Heidi hair instead of a more predictable tousled situation to try to offset the suit's masculinity. Matte red lips, copper shadow, tiered earrings and classic black Christian Louboutin pumps finish things off.
IMO, Wood looks like a no-nonsense headmistress at some sexy German boarding school who stores a riding crop in the pen drawer of her desk. I'm into it.
