Guys, no one freak out, but: Harry Styles might maybe have a girlfriend?
Word on the street (by "street" we mean the Fashionista Slack) is that chef, blogger and all around babe Tess Ward has been hanging around local favorite Harry Styles. Of course, hanging out with someone doesn't mean it's romantic. But what about sharing clothes? Ward hit the Audi Polo Challenge and a brunch — before getting into Harry Styles's very own Audi — wearing a Gucci button down that eagle-eyed Styles fans (aka half of the Fashionista staff) recognize as one he's worn before.
Now, again, this could all be a coincidence; after all, Gucci is experiencing rather tremendous popularity right now, and this is a dope shirt. But we need to know: Is this Gucci shirt the smoking gun that proves the two are taking things to the next level? Did Ward actually pull off the legendary "wear your new guy's shirt to brunch, but make it sexy" move? Is Gucci sharing the new key swapping? Are the secrets to Ward's incredible abs inside her cookbook? Is Harry Styles the hungry chipmunk in question? Can we use this as further proof that Harry Styles needs a Gucci campaign?
Regardless, Ward styled the Gucci shirt unbuttoned to flash just a hint of a lacy bra — a chic as hell move, by the way! — with black trousers, a matching blazer and stilettos. Also, we dig the haircut. We rarely say this, but: She may have worn Gucci even better than Harry did.
Now, if you'll excuse us, we have to comb The RealReal for this exact Gucci shirt and find some paper bags to hyperventilate into.
Update, Wednesday, May 10: Kate Middleton better scoot over because The Harry Styles Effect is here and it's real, y'all. According to fashion e-marketplace Lyst, the site has seen a whopping 43,000 pageviews of the Gucci shirt in question in the last 24 hours, and it's also completely sold out in the UK.
Though, it's worth nothing that eagle-eyed Styles fans — bless them — made the crucial discovery that while Ward's shirt appears to have had long sleeves, Styles' version had short sleeves, which means it's likely the two shirts aren't exactly the same. Life goes on.
