Instagirl and supermodel Kendall Jenner has been the face of La Perla for a few seasons now, but her latest ads — shot by Mert & Marcus — take a totally new direction. Jenner poses on a set designed by La Perla creative director Julia Haart, full of bright, poppy flowers inspired by Georgia O'Keeffe and Peter Max. Vogue will reportedly feature Chelsea Manning
Chelsea Manning, the high-profile whistleblower who was freed from prison just days ago, will reportedly appear in the pages of Vogue. While details are scarce, sources tell WWD that Anna Wintour is asking designers for options for Manning. Karl Lagerfeld is helping Vogue celebrate its 125th anniversary by designing a collection 10 of dresses, all inspired by roses. The limited edition frocks will be sold at Lord & Taylor this summer, and are pretty reasonably priced at $148 to $198 each. {Vogue}
The woman who went missing in the Bermuda Triangle is fashion executive Jennifer Blumin
Jennifer Blumin, who went missing while flying in a private plane near the Bahamas along with her boyfriend and two sons on Monday, is the founder and CEO of the Skylight Group. The Coast Guard recovered debris from the aircraft on Wednesday, but so far there have been no human remains found. The Skylight Group is the commercial real-estate firm responsible for renovating and restoring historical buildings, like Skylight Clarkson Square, where many New York Fashion Week shows have been held over the past several years. {The Cut}
