Looking for a talented professional to perform multi-faceted assistant role for MEMORANDUM, an NYC-based fashion and lifestyle blog. Primary responsibilities will be in the areas of social media, content production, SEO strategy and general administrative tasks. We are looking for a minimum of 25 hours per week to start with the opportunity to grow into a full-time role with more responsibility. Much of the work can be done remotely (though at least one day per week is required in-person). Not interested in short-term hire, but someone who is interested in growing with the company over the next year (or more!).

REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • Excellent business writing and communications skills
  • The very highest attention to detail
  • Serious interest in and knowledge of women’s fashion as well as beauty, hair care, fitness and home decor
  • Highly self-motivated and organized
  • High proficiency in social media (i.e. Instagram, Pinterest, Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, and Youtube)
  • Positive attitude, quick learner, great sense of humor and highest personal and professional integrity

ADDITIONAL SKILLS (PREFERRED BUT NOT REQUIRED):

  • experience in graphic design and photography
  • experience with Adobe Creative Suite 
  • experience in PR or marketing
  • experience with Wordpress, Google Analytics and SEO best practices
