Ahead of the official release date (Friday!) for "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2," Zoe Saldana has wrapped up her press tour with a bang. The actress, who plays Gamora alongside Star-Lord's Chris Pratt, wore an Alexander McQueen gown from the British house's Fall 2017 collection for the film's New York City screening on Wednesday night. From afar, Saldana's outfit is a cool, almost-trippy take on eveningwear, but up close is where things get really interesting: The gown's bishop sleeves and full-length silhouette are accented with intricately ribbed knitting in black and cutouts covered in a shiny gold mesh. It's basically the complete opposite of Cher Horowitz's coined term "full-on Monet."

Though the McQueen look was styled with a statement necklace for its runway show in London, Saldana did without it for her recent appearance and opted for drop earrings and delicate rings, instead. For beauty, a pretty smokey eye and a simple center part with loose waves finished the actress's full look. Until the next time Saldana hits the red carpet, we'll keep on dreaming about this one.
