It's always interesting to see how quick a designer's new collection can make its way onto the red carpet. And with resort season still in full swing, we've seen this speedy fashion phenomenon in full effect. Our latest example? Karlie Kloss attending the 2017 Fragrance Foundation Awards on Wednesday night. The model-turned-entrepreneur wore an embroidered silk dress straight from Carolina Herrera's Resort 2018 collection, which debuted earlier this month.
Kloss's sheer pink gown — adorned with a pretty floral motif and cinched at the waist with a knotted mint belt — certainly gets us in the summer spirit. It also falls on the opposite end of the sartorial spectrum from the last time we saw her on the red carpet. (At the CFDA Awards last month, she wore an all-black outfit by Diane Von Furstenburg.) And while this dress might be a little too whimsical for everyday life, we will be taking a few beauty tips from Kloss, as her sleek bun is the perfect hairstyle for those anticipated hot-and-humid days.
