Continuing its streak of showcasing Hollywood faces in its ad campaigns, Kenzo has tapped Fred Armisen, Maya Rudolph, Greta Lee ("Girls," "High Maintenance," "Sisters") and James Ransone ("The Wire," "Tangerine") for Fall 2017, which was revealed on Thursday. Previously, the French fashion house's creative directors Carol Lim and Humberto Leon have featured Tracee Ellis Ross, Jesse Williams, Mahershala Ali, Laura Harrier and Natasha Lyonne in their campaigns.
Kenzo's Fall 2017 images mark the first-ever high fashion campaign for the impressive crew of funny and talented actors. Armisen, Rudolph, Lee and Ransone will also star in a complementary fashion film by Lyonne (her directorial debut), titled "Cabiria, Charity, Chastity." The film follows Rudolph as Chastity, who goes on a "surreal journey through a parallel plane," according to a press release from the brand. "As she discovers that in order to face her future, she must first reconcile her Vaudevillian past."
Lyonne will also have a co-starring role in "Cabiria, Charity, Chastity," as well as appearances from Macaulay Culkin, Waris Ahluwalia, Leslie Odom Jr. and Matt Lucas. (And yes, we're just as clueless and excited as you are.) The film will debut later this year in September, so we'll just have to patiently wait through the summer. Luckily, we have this killer campaign to hold us over until then.
