Perhaps it's the fact that the recent "Baywatch" reboot has propelled it back into cultural relevance, or because every single influencer I follow on social media seems to be on a seaside vacation right now, but I am on a huge swimsuit kick. I haven't even set foot on a beach this season, but I am taking a vacation in just a few weeks, which is reason enough for me to start stocking up. While I rarely succumb to purchasing pieces I scroll by on Instagram, this red one piece by Monday Swimwear — a line started by mega-influencers and "A Bikini A Day" co-founders Natasha Oakley and Devin Brugman — really grabbed my attention (and will likely win my dollars). The combination of the bright red hue and the sexy-meets-sporty fit has me semi-convinced that, upon putting it on, I'll immediately transform into a "Baywatch" babe myself. While this is an unlikely result, there's no harm in trying, is there?
