Vogue has been celebrating its 125th anniversary all year, and each month has brought a new collaboration with everyone from Pressed Juicery to Birchbox. The common thread running through all these projects has been a rose, with Vogue even getting its own custom breed — pretty chic, as far as these things go.
But it was the June collaboration that caught my attention when it landed in my inbox; considering that we here at Fashionista get a lot of press releases on any given day, that's really saying something. Vogue collaborated with Soludos on two pairs of shoes, a tan slip-on style and a black lace-up flatform, both embroidered with the prettiest pink roses. I'm already a big fan of Soludos — as far as summer shoes go, they look stylish and are incredibly comfortable — so these were a no-brainer purchase. I picked up the black pair, which are cool and effortless in that vacation-in-the-south-of-France kind of way. They're currently sold out, but don't fret: There's a waitlist for a restocking expected on July 7, and the tan pair are still available.
Soludos Vogue 125 embroidered sandal, $79, available at Soludos.
