I fully get that there are people who hate the smell (and taste) of coconuts. TBH, I am not super into the taste myself. I hate coconut water almost as much as I hate "The Big Bang Theory" (only almost; I'm not a monster). But the scent — beachy, sunscreen-y coconuts, distilled into a chic glass perfume bottle — is precisely my vibe. (I also happen to have a soft spot for basic-bitch vanilla perfumes, sue me!)

Sunday Forever (an indie brand that also makes excellent candles and Instagram-worthy robes) sent me a teeny li'l vial of its Coconuts scent to test out; it's actually available for purchase if you're not ready to take the plunge with a full-size bottle. Intrigued, I spritzed it at my desk — my Fashionista coworkers are quite tolerant — and immediately fell in love. Sweet but not saccharine, assertive but not heavy and unapologetically tropical, it's basically the next best thing to being able to I-Dream-of-Jeannie blink your way instantaneously to Maui. Can someone please pass the rum and SPF 50?
