French Canadian supernova Céline Dion is extremely good at wearing clothes, a skill she most recently executed all throughout this month's Paris Couture Week. That mastery, paired with her stirring performance in her Met Gala Instagram video portrait, clearly caught the attention of Vogue, who tapped her to complete a very important task: modeling the season's best couture looks all around Paris.
In a new 117-second video directed by Gordon Von Steiner, Dion wears six dramatic styles from the most recent Fall 2017 couture shows, including Giambattista Valli, Dior, Rodarte, Margiela, Valentino and Chanel. And, there's just no way fashion has a better ambassador than Dion right now. Who else eats French fries in Margiela with the same shamelessly maniacal energy? Who else could reasonably flit around a Seine river cruise wearing Chanel with the agility of the original cast of "Cats"? Who derives more wildly unbridled joy from clothes? We should've known this was coming as soon as Dion whipped out her shoe phone during the Met Gala.
Welcome to the Céline Dionnaissance.
