Maptote Is Hiring A Sales Manager In Brooklyn, NY
Maptote is looking for a driven Sales Manager with solid business-to-business sales and/or account management experience. In this role you will be responsible for maintaining relationships with our existing stores as well as identifying and finding new business.
Responsibilities include
- Engage with new and potential sales opportunities; identify opportunities in new markets
- Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and make sure their needs are met; work with them on new or custom product development
- Manage the entire order process including, but not limited to, pricing, follow up, production timelines, payment, tracking
- Visit existing and potential stores and clients to assess needs and new sales opportunities; ability to travel, if needed
- Organize, set up and attend trade exhibitions and events to increase brand awareness and obtain new client acquisition
- Identifying product improvements or new products by remaining current on industry trends and competitors
Skills and Qualifications
- Possess a talent for sales and have great organizational skills
- Highly motivated and have the ability to work independently
- Think creatively
- Self-confident and have strong communication skills
- Have an enthusiasm for and knowledge of Maptote products
- Strong track record of meeting and exceeding sales goals
- Enthusiastic and positive attitude with an entrepreneurial spirit
- Solid understanding of retail math
- Strong proactive approach with a team player outlook
- College degree preferred and/or equivalent sales/sales support experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and Google Docs
