Bond No. 9 is New York's first ever luxury fragrance company dedicated to paying homage to the life, style and history of New York City. You will work in a fast-paced, creative environment and have the opportunity to be part of a rapidly expanding luxury fragrance company. 

Job Responsibilities:

Social Media:

  • Act as the voice of the brand across social media communities which will include but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, Snapchat and Twitter.
  • Have a critical sense of urgency and post regularly to maintain current and fast moving accounts
  • Monitor fans and follower communication, and respond in a helpful, brand-positive manner
  • Develop an engaging and brand-aligned content calendar every month
  • Develop “in-the-moment” content to compliment pre-planned content
  • Implement Bond No.9’s Social Media Strategy and be the voice of the brands, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and encouraging dialogue. This role coordinates with the internal Marketing and PR teams to support their respective missions, ensuring consistency in voice and effectiveness
  • Generate dialogue, buzz, interaction, trending topics/content and conduct outreach for potential partnerships for the brands
  • Manage social media campaigns and day-to-day activities. Duties include online advocacy, writing editorial, community-outreach efforts, promotions, creating and posting content, staying abreast of trending topics and industry news, etc.
  • Become an advocate of the Company in social media spaces, engaging in dialogues and answering consumer questions and complaints in a timely and professional manner
  • Create, execute, and manage engaging social media contests and measure results
  • Work with communications, product development, and creative departments to ensure strategic alignment and cohesive branding execution on all content and campaigns
  • Work with global teams to align branding and strategic initiatives
  • Demonstrate a 24/7 approach to responsibilities
  • Regularly update feedback insights gained from social media monitoring
  • Monitor trends in social media tools, trends and applications, testing new ideas and platforms and measure results
  • Regularly analyze and report of performance of campaign to ensure the brand is reaching its KPIs and goals
  • Photo document and post on all relevant occasions such as: company events, special holidays, celebrity events, product collaborations, charity events, in-house and external photo and video shoots, and more
  • Record and shoot content and appear in videos and/or on camera as part of the posting process i.e. Instagram stories, Facebook Lives, Snapchats, YouTube tutorials, etc.

Skills & Experience

  • BA degree in Marketing, Advertising, Communications or a related discipline
  • 3-5 year’s experience
  • Understanding of the social media universe of communities, social CMS tools, and platform management tools
  • Experience managing Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and other social media platforms
  • Knowledge and prior experience of Web Content Management Systems
  • Analytical eye for connecting social media community metrics to business objectives
  • Prior web experience in Consumer Products a plus
  • Undergraduate degree in business, marketing, communications, or related field
  • Excellent communication skills, including the ability to carefully edit and monitor text for correct grammar and punctuation
  • Impeccable follow-up skills
  • Must be comfortable on camera and shooting and posting live videos, stories, tutorials
  • Basic knowledge of Photoshop a plus
  • Digital photography skills required and a creative eye
  • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks to meet deadlines
  • Strategic thinker
  • Excellent organizational, planning, problem solving and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in fashion/beauty/fragrance a plus
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and learn quickly
  • Strong time management skills required
  • Must have a love for New York City
