If you're anything like us at Fashionista, then you've spent most of spring and summer eagerly awaiting the weather-appropriate moment to wrap yourself up in cozy, delectably chunky knits and call it a day. For some reason, fall's abundance of layering is somewhat more appealing — and comfortable — than summer's bum-baring cutoffs. Plus, we're more willing to spend a hot dollar on a coat or a boot, because these are the pieces we'll be living in as soon as the temperature drops.
This particular fall, we're making room in our closets for feather stilettos, shearling-lined denim and cold-weather skin remedies. And even though we managed to fill our virtual fall carts to our hearts' desires, we won't be getting all of our luxe picks; fashion is all about aspiration, right?
