Amelia Brown is looking for a highly motivated and dedicated Fashion Marketing Intern and Design Intern to join our team for the fall of 2017.

Amelia Brown is a New York-based designer with a global perspective. Her approach to design begins with the cultural heritage of dress,from which she adapts traditional silhouettes and embellishments in new ways.

Fall 2017 Fashion Marketing Internship

Requirements:

  • Interns need to be currently studying or have a degree in marketing, journalism or fashion related field.
  • Have experience managing social media outlets.
  • Must be able to commit at least 16 hours a week (2 or 3 full days preferred)
  • Be very organized, dependable, detail oriented and able to work in a very fast paced environment.
  • Be willing to learn and take direction.
  • Knowledge in Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.
  • Great attitude and a sense of humor, enthusiastic, and is a team player.

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

  • Must have knowledge in Fashion.
  • Create media and maintain content for all company social media pages.
  • Interns should be self-starters, proactive, positive, have an entrepreneurial spirit, and be able to work quickly while efficiently managing their own time since this partially remote/virtual opportunity.
  • Solid understanding of the online fashion landscape, from social media influencers to bloggers and popular online outlets

Fall 2017 Design Internship

Requirements:

  • Must be current student working toward a degree or recent graduate with background in Fashion Design or a relatable major.
  • Must be able to commit at least 16 hours a week (2 or 3 full days preferred)
  • Have knowledge in garment construction, sewing, draping, and flat pattern.
  • Have knowledge of a wide range of fabrics
  • Be very organized, dependable, detail oriented and able to work in a very fast paced environment.
  • Be willing to learn and take direction.
  • Knowledge in Photoshop and Illustrator a plus.
  • Great attitude and a sense of humor, enthusiastic, and is a team player.

Responsibilities included but are not limited to:

  • Involvement in design room duties
  • Assist with upcoming collections: samples developing, sourcing trims and fabric.
  • Assist with other studio and creative projects

This is an unpaid internship, can be exchanged for school credit.
