While you likely spent your Labor Day Weekend atop a pool float, perhaps lamenting the fact that summer's nearly over, a particular segment of the fashion community swapped their local watering hole for Burning Man at Nevada's Black Rock Desert. In the interest of journalistic integrity, we'll admit that we aren't entirely sure what, exactly, Burning Man entails, but its Wikipedia summary sure makes it sound like a "Mad Max" cosplay operation — a place where rich, nearly naked hippies become one with art and the Earth and each other's nearly naked, dust-covered bodies.
While Burning Man is traditionally a favorite for fashion — in 2014, Poppy Delevingne famously traded her Burberry cape for a burger — this year's gathering attracted quite a few more Victoria's Secret Angels than it does normally. Sara Sampaio, Josephine Skriver, Martha Hunt, Jasmine Tookes, Candice Swanepoel and Alessandra Ambrosio were all there alongside non-Victoria's Secret-ers Diplo, Jordan Barrett and Paris Hilton. And why not? That lingerie isn't going to wear itself in the 100-degree dry heat.
