Every New York Fashion Week Event That's Open To The Public

Fashion Week has arrived, which means swarms of sartorial starlets have already hit the streets draped in Balenciaga and Off-White. But just because you don't own a pair of floral-print ankle-hugging boots or have a seat at every runway show doesn't mean you can't grab a friend and take part in the New York Fashion Week festivities.

So to fulfill any spring collection cravings, we've rounded up the NYFW events that are open to the public. From starring in your own photo shoot to getting manicured with Jason Wu, read on for all the details.

Addition Elle Pop-Up

Monday Sept. 11 - Sunday, Sept. 17, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
134 5th Avenue

Shop Addition Elle's styles straight from the runway at the plus-size retailer's pop-up shop in the Flatiron District. The pop-up will also hold various events throughout the week including an intimate digital influencer night, one-on-one bra fittings and more. As a bonus, there will be babysitting services on site. 

AMCONYC​ and Sacha Cosmetics Makeup Lounge  ​​

Tuesday,​​ Sept. 12 - Wednesday, 13, 11 a.m. - 8p.m.
Studio 450, 450 West 31st Street, 12th floor

Enjoy complimentary makeup touch-ups by SACHA Cosmetics and hair touch-ups by AVEDA at AMCONYC's Beauty Lounge. 

Banana Republic X Olivia Palermo Pop-up 

Saturday, Sept. 9, 1 p.m.
Banana Republic Flatiron, 105 5th Avenue

Meet Banana Republic's Global Style Ambassador Olivia Palermo and shop the brand's spring 2018 collection at a Palermo-curated pop-up shop taking place at retailer's Flatiron location. 

Cladwell Clothing Swap

Tuesday, Sept. 12, 7-9 p.m.
177 Prince Street

If you're feeling thrifty, spend your evening with Cladwell, which  is a personal styling app that helps you create more outfits with fewer items. The company will be throwing its first-ever Cladwell Clothing Swap during NYFW, where you can bring five items or fewer and leave with five new items; whatever is left will be donated locally. (RSVP here.)

The CurvyCon

Friday, Sept. 8 - Saturday, Sept. 9
Metropolitan Pavillon, 639 West 46th Street 

Attend a two-day conference aimed at celebrating and serving the 67 percent of women who are above a size 14. This year's conference will feature a keynote address from Chrissy Metz of "This Is Us" and will have a runway presentation showcasing five new curve-conscience brands, as well as pop-up shops. Jason Wu #GREYOUT

Tuesday, Sept. 12- Sunday, Sept. 24 
Cadillac House, 330 Hudson Street 

Jason Wu is taking over the Cadillac House for almost two weeks to debut his capsule lifestyle collection. In addition to providing the public with an exclusive shopping experience, Wu will provide a wide variety of programming and activities including fitness classes, manicure bars and talks with industry insiders. Lexus: Set in Motion, a NYFW Experience in collaboration with 'Interview Magazine'

Friday, Sept. 8 - Saturday, Sept. 9, 11 a.m. - 6 p.m. 
459 West 14th St. 

Play model for an hour at Lexus's photo shoot pop-up in Chelsea. You will have your Polaroid taken upon entrance into the venue, which will serve as your ticket for the official photo shoot. You will then be guided into a lounge filled with food, beverages and giveaways. Following your fuel session, you will star in your very own photo shoot. After the shoot, you will return to the lounge to pick your favorite shot to share with your Insta-followers. 

La Prairie 'The Art of Caviar'

Thursday, Sept. 7, 10 a.m.- 8 p.m.
3 West 57th Street

Take part in a day full of pampering with complimentary Skin Caviar treatments courtesy of La Prairie beauty aestheticians from 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Following your treatment, enjoy music by DJ Gillian Sagansky, champagne and an exclusive caviar tasting bar until 8 p.m. 

R/Evolution

Thursday, Sept. 14, 6-8 p.m. 
The Brooklyn Museum, 200 Eastern Pkwy, Brooklyn

Attend NYFW's largest LGBTQ runway show R/Evolution at the Brooklyn Museum presented by DapperQ. R/Evolution will feature designers whose work is rooted in gender nonconformity. This year's theme is dedicated to queer style as a means of resistance. There is a $10 admissions fee and there will be a bar, music and pop-up shops to enjoy prior to the show.

Friday, Sept. 8 - Monday, Sept. 11
106 Wythe Avenue, Williamsburg, Brooklyn

Experience Refinery29's annual interactive funhouse in Brooklyn. This year's theme celebrates the transformative power of creativity, so each individually curated room will be an Instagrammable art installation. Tickets are sold out, but you can score free tickets here

Sam Edelman launch party 

Friday, Sept. 8, 4-8 p.m. 
Sam Edelman Soho Store, 109 Spring Street

Celebrate the launch of Sam Edelman's lifestyle collection and preview the brand's newest offerings in shoes, apparel and lingerie. The evening will also include complimentary beauty services provided by GlamSquad, craft cocktails, music and more surprises. Ten percent of sales made will be donated to The Two Ten Footwear Foundation's Hurricane Harvey Fund. 

The Shop @ NYFW

Friday, Sept. 8 – Sunday, September 10, 12-5 p.m. 
859 Washington Street

IMG will open a pop-up T-shirt shop at 859 Washington Street and will donate 50 percent of the $48 purchase price to UNICEF USA. The T-shirt bar will feature original statement tees from: Naeem Khan, Marchesa, Alice and Olivia, Bibhu, Anna Sui, Cynthia Rowley, Adam Selman and Prabal Gurung.
