Team Fashionista already spent some time discussing our NYFW must-haves, but in my roundup I overlooked one crucial thing, my single most important accessory for making it through the week: this sleep mask. As you may have heard, NYFW means sleep is on short supply for editors, so it's vital to make the most of those hours you do get. I've never been a talented snoozer — if I could pick a superpower it would be to be able to fall asleep quickly — and wearing an eye mask in general has drastically improved my ability to sleep soundly.

Slip's version is made from 100-percent silk, which, in addition to being fancy, serves several functional purposes. First, it's super-comfy on your face (an itchy sleep mask is only going to make your sleep-ability worse). All that silky smoothness also means it doesn't crease or tug on skin, which is helpful because the area around the eye is extra-delicate (and because sleep wrinkles are unfortunately something beauty editors think about all too often).

It's available in five shades, but might I suggest picking up the millennial pink one for ideal flatlay optimization?
