Alexander Wang's collaboration with Adidas Originals is still kicking. Ahead of its second drop for season two, which is slated for Saturday, Oct. 7 online and at select retail and flagship locations, the New York designer has released a brand new campaign and a sneak peek of the soon-to-be-released collection on Monday morning.
To refresh your memory, this season's theme combines cycling culture with the underground rave scene. When the first round of Juergen Teller-shot imagery came out in July, we were introduced to a group of masked cyclists dressed in Wang's sporty designs. Now, the mysterious models have been revealed with Selena Forrest, Stella Lucia, Sora Choi, Otis Giovanni and Callum Mullin as the official new faces of the collab.
This season's next drop is comprised of 36 pieces of unisex footwear and apparel in solar yellow, dark green, signature Adidas blue and, of course, black. Carried over from the first drop, the "Alt Dimension" slogan is still featured on select pieces, this time emblazoned across soccer jerseys and track jackets. Snap-side track pants, windbreakers, mesh tops have a sporty nostalgia feel.
For footwear, the collection will have updated versions of previously released styles, including the AW Run Midis and Skate Mid. Plus, Wang finally got to apply his design chops towards the classic Adilette slide, adding the same tri-color textured rubber details found on the collection's skate sneaker.
