Halloween may still be a few days away, but the weekend before the holiday itself was nonetheless one of over-the-top celebrations and dramatic costumes, at least amongst a solid portion of celebrities and fashion people. Whether attending the amFAR/Naked Heart Association benefit event, as was the case for a slew of models, or simply out and about at one of the many parties going on, fashion folks showed up in over-the-top, sometimes truly inspired (and other times, just gory and confusing) costumes.
The '70s proved to be a popular inspiration this year, with Kaia Gerber transforming into Elvira Hancock from "Scarface" (above) and the rest of her family also donning looks from the decade. Meanwhile, Kim Kardashian and Alessandra Ambrosio each concocted their own version of a '70s-era Cher — we'll leave it up to discussion which one of them truly nailed the full look (cough, it was definitely Kim, cough).
Below, we've rounded up Halloween looks from the 2017 celebrations so far. Be sure to check back, as we'll be updating this post with more looks as they keep coming over the next few days.
