It's been a long week of allegations against Hollywood producer Harvey Weinstein, with many actresses and other women in the entertainment industry coming forward with stories of sexual abuse and assault.

The latest to share her story is Cara Delevingne, who launched her acting career just a few years ago. Despite already being an established supermodel, she, too, experienced unwanted advances from Weinstein when trying to break into film. Weinstein reportedly called and asked Delevingne if she had "slept with any of the women [she] was seen out with in the media" and then tried to set up a threesome with her and another woman in his hotel room. Writer Yashar Ali shared her statement in full on his Twitter, and it can be read below:

While we're disheartened to hear of Delevingne's traumatic experience, along with the many others shared by women over the past several days, we admire her bravery in coming forward with the story. Unfortunately, these kinds of incidents aren't unique to the entertainment industry; these kinds of predators are also a part of the fashion business. We hope more women will feel empowered to speak out in the future.
