On Tuesday morning, the final day of Paris Fashion Week, Karl Lagerfeld presented Chanel's Spring 2018 collection before a set that was as extravagant as ever. This season, the Kaiser traded in working spacecrafts for something a bit more serene: a life-size mountain landscape, complete with flowing waterfalls, shrubbery and foot bridges. The clothes did not disappoint, either, with healthy servings of the French house's traditional wares — like tweed and wool separates — mixed in with new, more contemporary styles, including clear PVC boots, visors and jazzed-up denim.
