With a host of awards under her belt for her performances in films like "A Single Man" and "The Hours," there's no denying that Julianne Moore is a legend — and on Tuesday night John Hardy and Vanity Fair sought to honor her as such by throwing her a "Night of Legends" party. Moore, who starred alongside Adwoa Aboah in John Hardy's latest campaign, was greeted by a crowd of well-wishing celebrity friends at a dinner at Le Coucou in New York City.
Moore herself chose a classy long-sleeved black dress for the occasion paired with plenty of John Hardy bling. Her all-black-everything choice was echoed by many other attendees: Martha Stewart chose a modest pants-and-blouse ensemble, Jasmine Tookes spiced things up with a lacy kimono and photography duo Inez and Vinoodh went with a subdued palette of blacks offset by just a touch of silvery-gray and brown. Other guests threw in unexpected bursts of color, from DJ Mia Moretti's purple leather skirt to author Zadie Smith's pastel ensemble to artist India Menuez's green corset.
