Remember when Louis Vuitton staged a show at the Louvre last season and we all wondered how Nicolas Ghesquière would ever follow that awe-inspiring location? Well, this season his answer was simply to hit the Louvre again – but move to the basement. Whether it takes place in a sculpture gallery or the castle-like underground, any show at the famed museum has to feel extra-special to Paris Fashion Week attendees. So how does one dress appropriately for such an event?

By wearing lots of Louis Vuitton, duh. At least that's what front row-sitting A-listers like Julianne Moore, Michelle Williams, Jaden Smith and Ruth Negga did. While the iterations of Vuitton that celebs wore were varied — from Moore's minimal emerald sheath dress to Smith's edgier head-to-toe black look to the rich brown leathers that showed up on Williams and Laura Harrier — the Ghesquière signature was evident throughout. A day at the museum has never looked better.
