Whenever a new season of collections debut on the runway during Fashion Month, we're always anxious to see which celebrity will snap up the designer-name pieces for their latest red carpet appearance.
The latest to show off a fresh-of-the-runway ensemble is Margot Robbie, who dressed in not one, but two different looks from Donatella Versace's Spring 2018 collection, which was a tribute to her late brother Gianni Versace. The Italian fashion house showcased a slew of archival designs with an equally iconic runway show that featured a finale of OG supermodels — Cindy Crawford, Naomi Campbell, Claudia Schiffer, Helena Christensen and Carla Bruni.
Out to promote her new film "Goodbye Christopher Robin," stylist Kate Young dressed the actress in a red power suit for an appearance on "Good Morning America" on Wednesday. Robbie's bold ensemble is already enough of a statement (a Gianni signature), so her sleek bob and subtle Nicholas Kirkwood heels perfectly finished the look.
For a special New York screening of the film later that evening, Robbie switched gears to something a little more romantic in the form of a butterfly print dress, which first appeared on the Versace runway more than 20 years ago as part of Gianni's Spring 1995 collection. (A dress from the memorable season even made it to the cover of Vogue.) What's that we're feeling? The urge to suddenly search online for our own Gianni-era finds? Luckily we can. Farfetch has collaborated with London's William Vintage to offer shoppers up to 500 pieces of the fashion legend's designs.
