While I already stick to a fairly simple uniform when it comes to getting dressed, the fall and winter months are when I get extreme with my outfit repetition. Once the temperature drops, I almost always wear an oversize sweater every single day, usually paired with jeans, trousers or, if I'm feeling fancy, leather pants. I have a few staple knits that I plan to never get rid of, like my camel-colored turtleneck and navy crewneck, but naturally, my sartorial consistency sometimes results in having to replace a a sweater that's too pilled or worn out. So I'm currently on the hunt to stock up on a few more knit tops to add to my cozy arsenal, and this alpaca blend jumper from & Other Stories is currently at the top of my list.
The sweater comes in a soothing shade that reminds me of a warm bowl of oatmeal. (I don't eat oatmeal, but I imagine the experience to be very comforting with a pinch of cinnamon.) The fit is relaxed, which is perfect, and the hemline is slightly curved, which will probably exaggerate its slouchy silhouette (even more perfect). I'm eager to add this to rotating collection of knits, but let's keep this between us: chances are I'll be waring this one a little more than the others.
