If you, like me, are on the wedding guest circuit this fall, you understand that finding the right shoes to wear can be something of a Herculean task. Not only do most weddings necessitate that you be on your feet for upwards of seven (or more) hours, but they also generally entail dancing, an activity I greatly enjoy, but can be made sad and difficult with uncomfortable shoes. To be fair, I've definitely removed my shoes for the dance portion of certain weddings I've attended, but I much prefer not to. (Germs, broken glass, judgmental family members, etc.)
Until very recently, though, I had yet to find a pair of heels that didn't cause me grave physical and psychological pain to wear all through the night — that is, until I discovered these $38 cuties courtesy of Target's Who What Wear collaboration. I bought them for a wedding I had over the weekend and was so pleasantly surprised that here I am, writing about them for you now. I put them on at roughly 5 p.m. CST and took them off seven hours later and felt no pain or smushing whatsoever in between. They looked great in pictures. They allowed me to get a little freaky while prancing around to "Twist and Shout." But best of all, they distracted from the fact that the slit in the back of my dress had ripped, thus coming very close to showing more of me than Dallas, Texas, was comfortable with. For that, I thank these shoes.
