Back in 2015, a mostly unknown 23-year-old Daisy Ridley was fresh on the scene, starring as the badass heroine Rey in "Star Wars: The Force Awakens" all while making a name for herself as a budding style icon. Throughout Ridley's original "Star Wars" press tour, she worked with stylist Petra Flannery for an expertly curated slew of looks from a range of noteworthy designers, including the likes of Chanel and Chloé. Fast-forward to 2017, and Ridley is officially on the A-list — and often appears on best-dressed lists, too.

As the press tour for the latest installment of the film franchise kicks off, Ridley's fashion game is still going strong — this time around, thanks to a little help from stylist Samantha McMillen. At a Monday fan event for the film in Mexico City, she wore a sleeveless power pantsuit from Paco Rabanne's Spring 2018 collection. With small buttons running down the front on a diagonal and an unexpected swath of paisley-print lining peeking out at the neckline, the slim-fitting black separates melded serious action hero vibes with a bit of playfulness.

On the beauty front, Ridley kept things simple with tousled waves, a deep side part and a rich berry lip color that coordinated with the paisley print on her top. The whole look is a sure sign that we're in for some truly great style choices as the remainder of the "Star Wars" press tour continues — and that's to say nothing of Ridley's always fashionable co-stars, John Boyega and Lupita Nyong'o, whose looks it would be an understatement to say we're eagerly anticipating.
