Cardi B, the regular-shmegular girl from the Bronx, finally landed her first major fashion collaboration with Steve Madden. For the holiday season, the 25-year-old hip-hop artist curated her favorite shoe styles from the footwear brand, which she showcases in a video series called "Daily Tips With Cardi B," packed with style advice from the rapper herself. Though the announcement was made official on Wednesday, rumors swirled that a collaboration was possibly in the works back in September, and Madden himself confirmed the news in November.

"I'm so excited to be collaborating with one of my all-time favorite shoe designers! As a little girl I would die for a pair of Steve Madden shoes, now I'm working with him! It's really a dream come true," said Cardi B in an official statement.

The first campaign video has Cardi modeling a pair of "Daisie" heels, a pointy-toe shoe that "every woman needs to have." The remaining videos feature thigh-high "Dominique" boots to make you "look rich as hell;" white platform "Foxy" boots for "cute, sexy, daytime vibes;" a "good poppin-ass shoe" called "Mimi;" and a pair of glitter boots (our favorite, obviously) called "Wifey."

Cardi garnered her fashion-darling status during New York Fashion Week in September, where she was spotted front row at some of the biggest runway shows of the season, including Helmut Lang, Fenty Puma by Rihanna and Christian Siriano. Her chart-topping single "Bodak Yellow" was also a NYFW soundtrack staple, which she performed live at Alexander Wang's #WangFest. While Cardi surely strikes a chord with the high-fashion crowd, it's her approachable knack for mixing high and low — Balenciaga with Fashion Nova, for example — that we love so much, making this partnership with Steve Madden such a good fit. Plus, if Cardi B can put Christian Louboutin "red bottoms" back on the sartorial map, we have a strong feeling that there will be a lot more shmoney-making fashion collabs in her future.
