I, like much of the rest of the beauty world, have been on somewhat of a Palo Santo kick lately. Blame it on the sorry state of current events or the increasing trendiness of mystical-inspired wellness practices, but I'm all about the aromatic, purifying wood right now. I routinely light it up in my apartment to invite any and all bad vibes to kindly see themselves out, and I breathe deeply whenever my yoga instructor does the same pre-class. So, naturally, I am also obsessed with Le Labo's Palo Santo-scented candle. And not just because it's a fancier addition to my apartment than the little sticks of wood are.
Le Labo's take on the aroma is a bit lighter and greener, with cedarwood and patchouli to create a balanced, mellow scent. Plus, because palo santo is believed to clear negativity and misfortune, it's an especially timely candle to light up right now, since Mercury will be retrograde for most of December. Not to mention, it also would make an excellent holiday gift.
