After decades spent sourcing the highest quality diamonds at the best prices, OWN as we know it today was created in 2012 as a covetable collection of gold and fine gemstone jewelry. The company has gained widespread recognition as an award recipient of numerous DeBeers sponsored design competitions in Turkey for its mesmerizing, one-of-a-kind gold and diamond pieces.

Desired Skills:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft excel
  • Polished communication and pitching skills
  • Ability to think and act independently, with devotion to growing the brand
  • Established relationships with major retailers, independents and specialty stores in the jewelry space strongly preferred
  • Proven track record of growing a brand(s) wholesale positioning
  • Industry insight and competitive analysis skill set
  • Ability to relay all feedback to the team
  • Tradeshow experience
  • Travel availability
  • Bachelor’s Degree

Responsibilities:

  • Leverage relationships with buyers at the major and independent levels to set up meetings and go-sees to get the brand in front of the "right" eyes
  • Create sales strategy, identifying wholesale opportunities where the jewelry will perform best
  • Manage mailer outreach and sending of collateral materials to sales targets
  • Consultation for POS needs and collateral materials

During market, sales rep would be responsible for:

  • Managing sales strategy and order management
  • Co-managing fulfillment with logistics team
  • Schedule and facilitate sales appointments (both inside and outside of noted market weeks)
  • Bolster existing relationships with wholesale account through impeccable service
  • Liaise with new accounts continuously to support early and seasonal sales efforts
  • Consultation on booth/set-up needs
  • Assistance for duration of market week appointments from set up to break down

The sales rep will be offered a monthly base retainer for part time work, plus commission based on wholesale sales.
