Pepsi's controversial TV commercial with Kendall Jenner last year may have gone viral in a bad way, but that doesn't mean that the soda brand is giving up on working with fashion icons. This year, Pepsi is unveiling new ads featuring supermodel Cindy Crawford and her son Presley Gerber, in addition to other, yet-to-be-named celebrities, as part of a campaign called "Pepsi Generations."
Crawford's inclusion hearkens back to vintage Pepsi ads in which she was featured as a young model, while son Gerber's presence is a nod to the next generation. (No word on where daughter Kaia Gerber is in all this, but we'll have to settle for one Gerber sibling for now.) We won't know the full contents of the ad campaign until it debuts in February during the Super Bowl Halftime Show next month, but the short clip Pepsi has released so far has us hopeful that it'll be much less tone-deaf than Jenner's iteration last year.
UPDATE, Thursday, Feb. 1, 2:13 p.m.: Pepsi just released the full-length version of the ad, narrated by Jimmy Fallon and featuring Presley Gerber, which will air during the Super Bowl this weekend. Watch the whole thing here:
