During New York Fashion Week in September, we noticed a certain bright, bold color that had potential to replace the ubiquitous millennial pink: safety orange. From Tom Ford and Calvin Klein to Chromat, Sies Marjan and Rihanna's Fenty Puma, the traffic-stopping shade was introduced in the form of sporty ensembles, accessories and more.
At Men's Fashion Week in Milan over the weekend, it became clear that the runway trend is already catching on with this season's showgoers. The street style crowd opted for pops of orange when it came to getting dressed, whether it was with a knitted beanie, a statement coat or a T-shirt. As we approach the women's shows in February, we have a feeling we'll be seeing this particular trend again and again, so we suggest you stock up while you can.
