Flying Solo, a revolutionary organization of designers, is delighted to announce a contest that will select two designers that will win a trip to NYFW and PFW to showcase their collections alongside other Flying Solo designers. Flight and accommodations will be included.

Flying Solo also continuously partners with Parsons and Esmod to promote up-and-coming talent. Flying Solo’s efforts were recognized by New York Times, WWD, WGSN, Vogue, Elle, Cosmopolitan, Fashionista, Nylon and others.

Flying Solo founder, Elizabeth Solomeina is a champion of young, up-and-coming designers, and she’s excited that two fresh talents will be joining Flying Solo’s designers for the two prestigious fashion weeks. Solomeina said, “Our brand is all about empowering designers, and we’re so pleased to offer these creative up-and-comers the chance to travel and work alongside the talent at Flying Solo in New York and Paris.”

Designers can submit their FW18 collections for review by our panel that consists of industry experts from editors of the major publications to buyers and influencers as well as Flying Solo team. “It’s a special opportunity,” Solomeina continues.”It’s really exiting because it’s always a joy to be all together in this moment during the show”

Flying Solo is a revolutionary approach to fashion design, featuring the designers themselves front-and-center at the shop’s flagship location on West Broadway in NYC. A favorite of celebrities like Swizz Beatz, Alicia Keys, Leandra Medine, and Vanessa Hudgens, Flying Solo delights in shaking up the fashion scene.

While in New York and Paris, the two designers will interact with trendsetting designers from all over the globe, with shows and productions at a variety of locations, featuring a stunning array of talent. Solomeina adds, “What’s amazing to me during NYFW and PFW is how much some of us have to do in the space of those two week and somehow everyone manages to come through. The surreal thing for everyone in fashion, I think, is that every time there are so many of us who stress and get no sleep but, in the end, everything comes off beautiful and perfect.”
