New York based designer, Jay Godfrey is the founder and creative director behind his eponymous collection of sleek, sexy and sophisticated designs. Perceptually inspired by the chic New York woman, Godfrey's goal as a designer is to meld the classic tailoring techniques of savile row with modern silhouettes and luxurious fabrics. The results is his distinctive contemporary collection of dresses and separates that accentuate the female figure. Godfrey describes himself as a minimalist who embraces color in an unmistakably sensual way.

E-COMMERCE MANAGER

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Develop and maintain ecommerce business plan to exceed annual sales/profitability goals, increase conversion, UPT, AOR, and repeat visits
  • Develop a marketing and content calendar, in concert with design and digital marketing agency
  • Report and analyze site selling, customer buying habits and overall analytics (and reacting as necessary)
  • Oversee and run promotions, marketing activities, and event coordination, that coordinate with holidays and
  • Interact with customers and develop better customer service and UX protocols
  • Monitor order shipping and inventory transfers, as well as customer returns
  • Manage product journey – from buying, to photoshoot to site presence and markdowns
       - Work with sales team and financial planners to merchandise and buy for e- commerce store for all seasons
       - Schedule and coordinate photoshoots, prep of product and transport of merchandise to shoot site
       - Uploading & removing product, managing inventory and markdowns

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

  • 3++ years experience in digital / ecommerce at apparel or luxury brand
  • Must have strong operating knowledge of Shopify platform, Mailchimp ESP, Share-A-Sale, and Amazon Seller Central
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Strong understanding of Google and overall site analytics
  • Strong understanding of AdRoll, Criteo, Adwords and SEO
  • Strategic thinker who understands both short term and long term objectives
  • Proven success in the ability to lead, build, develop, and scale new revenue growth opportunities
  • Experience in fashion is a big plus

COMPENSATION

$65k-85k base salary (dependent on experience) with performance incentives
