Whether or not you thought that the second season of "Stranger Things" lived up to the first, it would be hard to deny that the addition of Sadie Sink's spunky character Max Mayfield was a positive one. That's what we think, at least, and it seems like Undercover designer Jun Takahashi agrees.
We know this because Takahashi cast Sink to walk in his Fall 2018 show in Paris on Friday. Wearing a monochromatic red outfit, Sink opened the show looking comfortable in a hoodie, joggers, beanie and sneakers.
Though casting the young starlet made sense based on Takahashi's "eternal youth" theme, it was also a move some might question, considering that Sink is only 15. After all, there's a reason that Kering, LVMH and the CFDA have all mandated the use of models who are 16 years old at a minimum. Still, it's worth noting that Sink's visible makeup was minimal — no attempting to try and make her look older.
A controversial move, maybe, but one that it's easy to understand Takahashi making. With her striking looks, Sink couldn't possibly stay out of the fashion spotlight for long (and indeed, she's already been featured in editorial shoots and attracted attention for her red carpet style). Here's hoping she experiences only the good the industry has to offer.
