It's (finally) that time of year again: Yay, It's Finally Warm — But Oh, Shit, My Arms and Legs Are Straight-Up Ghostlike season. Time to load up on self-tanner and fix things, ASAP. It's worth noting here that sunless tanning products are definitely not just for those with pale skin; the fair-complected may be especially keen on getting a real glow, but for medium and even dark skin tones, self-tanner can work wonders on evening out skin tone and making limbs look dewy and flawless. 

Since basically all self-tanners rely on the same ingredient, DHA, to deliver a tint, whether you wind up with streaks or blotches depends largely on your application method. Beauty influencer and vlogger Jaclyn Hill — who also worked at a tanning salon in high school — has a foolproof process for getting a streak- and blotch-free effect. And of course, she decided to share it with the internet via a video tutorial.
