The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge welcomed their third child Monday morning, a boy — His Royal Highness Prince Louis of Cambridge — weighing 8lbs, 7oz.
It's not unusual for expecting mothers to have an item of clothing they can't wait to put on once the baby is born, but the Duchess of Cambridge has a go-to designer: Jenny Packham. She's chosen a dress by Packham following the births of all three of her children, topped off by fresh makeup and a blowout, of course, and this time was no exception..
For baby number three, the dress was a bright red, knee-length number with a cream lace Peter Pan collar that matched the cream cap and blanket the newborn sported. She accessorized with her signature nude heels.
Middleton was, of course, not alone, accompanied by Prince William in a blue shirt and blazer. Earlier, Prince William brought Prince George and and Princess Charlotte by the hospital to meet their new sib. They continued the blue color theme: George in a sweater, shorts and loafers with socks; Charlotte in a floral printed dress, cropped cardigan and Mary Janes with socks. George and William coordinated similarly for Charlotte's birth in 2015.
Congrats to this lovely family!
