On Wednesday, Kim Kardashian took a break from posting scantily-clad beachside pictures with Kourtney on Instagram to announce her latest beauty collab: The KKW Beauty founder and CEO has teamed up with the winner of "Glam Masters" to develop a range of cream eye-shadow sticks.
Kardashian posted an image of five retractable, crayon-like sticks in different shades: classic black, chocolate brown, shimmery gold, bold teal and glittery bronze. Her accompanying caption reads: "Tonight you have to tune into Glam Masters for the season finale to see who wins! The winner has done a special collab with @kkwbeauty! The Glam Master and I have developed cream eye-shadow sticks that will be launching April 23rd on KKWBEAUTY.COM."
Earlier this month, Kardashian collaborated with her long-time makeup artist, Mario Dedivanovic, on a four-piece makeup set that included a 10-pan eye-shadow palette, but this is her first foray into the majorly versatile and easy-to-use world of creamy, eye-shadow sticks.
We'll be sure to keep this post updated as more information about the product (and pricing) becomes available.
UPDATE, Thursday, April 19, 3:45 p.m.: The "Glam Masters" winner, Argenis Pinal, is the lucky makeup artist behind the next batch of KKW products. The KKW Beauty Instagram account took to Instagram on Thursday to share additional details about the shadow sticks, officially called "KKWxARGENIS Crème Color Sticks." Pinal had the honor of naming the shades, which include Genis, Muyor, Dramatico, Peshosa and Comic King. According to the post, the product will make its retail debut over the weekend on April 21 at the "Glam Masters" booth at BeautyCon in New York City, followed by its launch on kkwbeauty.com on April 23.
