For me, there is no summer shoe easier or chicer than an espadrille. I find them so easy to throw on no matter what the situation, they rarely ever chafe or give me blisters and, thanks to the lace-up detail, they make just about every warm weather outfit look just slightly more styled.
That's why as soon as there's a hint of spring in the air, I stock up on a new pair of Soludos. I own a few flat pairs to wear with denim cutoffs, and a wedged pair in basic black to wear around the city. It's that pair which gets the most wear; the height makes it feel like a dressy warm weather option, so I'll wear them everywhere from the office to date night. This season, I picked up another wedge in a light pink, a color guaranteed to go with all of my spring and summer dresses. I've only worn them once (shout out New York City "spring") but I already know they'll be my go-to shoes until temperatures drop again in the fall.
Soludos tall wedge in Dusty Rose, 94.95, available at Nordstrom
