Pippa Middleton Wears London-Based Contemporary Label The Fold to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's Wedding
Pippa Middleton first throttled into the international limelight in 2011 when her sister, Kate Middleton, married into the Mountbatten-Windsor family to become the Duchess of Cambridge. Pippa's no stranger to weddings — she herself got married to financier James Matthews last May, wearing a couture gown by Giles Deacon — and made another royal nuptial appearance on Saturday to attend Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's wedding ceremony at Windsor Castle.
For the occasion, Pippa — who, according to People, is pregnant! — wore a $695 mint and dusty pink silk dress courtesy of London-based contemporary label The Fold. (She paired it with a coordinating, dusty pink fascinator, obviously.) It's still available for purchase online at The Fold's official e-commerce site, which describes the garment as: "Your perfect summer party plus one, skillfully cut in lustrous, printed silk." Perhaps the copywriter had a breezy, happy hour soirée in mind — but this intimate, not-at-all-televised, definitely-very-casual event definitely does the trick, too.
