Minutes before Meghan Markle took her 2.6 mile-long walk down the aisle in a stunning Givenchy numberQueen Elizabeth II  pulled up to the St. George's Chapel with her husband, the Duke of Edinburgh, looking spritely in lime silk tweed coat by Stewart Parvin and a coordinating hat by Angela Kelly. We can't say we're surprised by her Majesty's bright ensemble, granted that in her 65-year reign, she has sported dozens of bold shades, from fuchsia to lemon to royal blue.

Stewart Parvin, a British bridal designer and the official royal dressmaker, was responsible for the Queen's vivacious ensemble, which boasted a lovely summer garden party aesthetic and also made it all the more known that at age 92, the Queen is a "cool grandma" who's not shy about wearing highlighter hues. Underneath the neon topper, the Queen opted for a floral dress with purple accents, accessorized with satin white gloves, sensible black shoes and a necklet of pearls. To literally top it all off, she also wore a boater-style hat by milliner Angela Kelly, adorned with purple feather and flower accents.
