Exactly 369 days ago, Alyssa, Tyler and I went through what I can only describe as an emotional, physical and spiritual odyssey to procure tickets to one Harry Styles's two June tour dates at New York City's Madison Square Garden. We were, eventually, successful, albeit much more broke and devoid of any dignity with which we'd began our day.
In those 369 days, we at Fashionista have lingered around, watching, like Regina George's mother during "Jingle Bell Rock," as Styles has gone on to star in a Christopher Nolan movie, complete the first leg of a massive international tour, perform at the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show and, finally, secure an official Gucci campaign. (We have, obviously, written about all of it. YOU'RE WELCOME, @HSHQ!)
A busy 369 days it has been, and now, the day of our concert is nearly here.
What does one wear to witness to Styles performing "Kiwi" — the best song ever, not to be confused with "Best Song Ever" — live two and a half times? All of our initial suggestions got shot down for "lunacy" (adult-sized kiwi costumes exist, is all I'm saying), so official Styles merch is the next best thing. This shadowy tee, picturing a photo of Styles wearing excellent Charles Jeffrey Loverboy trousers, is a frontrunner. I haven't bought it yet, but should I express-order it to, you know, show support?
See you next week!
Photo Tee (Black), $34.95, available here.
