A mixture of high-profile models, musicians and politicians descended on Kensington Gardens in London on Wednesday to celebrate the annual Serpentine Summer Party. Hosted this year by Chanel and Adwoa Aboah, the evening was full of looks from the French house. For Aboah, that meant a lacy black ensemble complete with a Shakespearean-looking neck ruff and fingerless gloves, while fellow "It" Brit Alexa Chung opted for a similar silhouette, but with bare arms.
Other celebs, like Ciara and Charli XCX, chose to go with black dresses from other designers, like Christopher Kane, but the evening wasn't completely devoid of color. Inclusive design advocate Sinéad Burke wore custom Christopher Kane in a lovely shade of aquamarine, while model Maria Borges opted for a frothy lilac dress with feather trim. And Suki Waterhouse went for perhaps the most classic Chanel look of all in a tweed skirt suit set with slingback pumps.
