American fashion-lovers may be trying to take a break from the runway show circuit this holiday week, but it's always fashion week somewhere. For the past seven days, that somewhere was Paris, where celebrities, models and designers converged to view the haute couture and cruise collections from labels like Dior, Valentino and Miu Miu and to party with the likes of Vogue Paris. It's a general rule that where there's good clothing on the runway, there will be good clothing in the front row and at the coinciding soirées , courtesy of the influencers and movie stars that will inevitably be there.

At Dior, this meant Karlie Kloss showing up in a lacy white button-up, Susie Lau wearing a bright pieceworked quilt jacket and Katie Holmes in a black-and-white striped A-line dress. Meanwhile, Luka Sabbat and Lily Collins went retro at Miu Miu with an orange knitted sweater and a groovy patterned dress, respectively. Others, like Tracee Ellis Ross in all white at Valentino and Natalia Vodianova in head-to-toe red at Ulyana Sergeenko, opted for the more minimalist, monochrome route. And at the Vogue Paris dinner, things got very sparkly with Naomi Campbell in silver Iris van Herpen and Lily-Rose Depp in bejeweled Chanel tweed.
