Métier Creative is seeking a full-time Brand Strategist (located in New York City).

You are:

A well-versed, social media savvy individual with strong advertising agency background rooted in brand building and strategy. You have an innate understanding of how to connect creative and client objectives with a savvy, optimistic, solution-oriented approach to everything. You have an extensive background rooted in fashion, beauty, and/or lifestyle verticals. You have a passion for social media and digital influencers. You have a natural ability for client services and being a leader to mentor a team internally. You must have an innate ability to multi-task and adapt to the rapidly changing environment of a start-up. You are eager, motivated, driven and confident in your skills, which can be applied to overseeing an account, department and being part of the procurement process. You are a self-starter, but you’re also a team player. You demonstrate impeccable attention to detail, while managing multiple projects simultaneously and motivating your team around you.

Working closely with the Co-Founders, you will support the development of all current retainer clients, projects, seasonal campaign and new business pitches. You will collaborate directly with clients day-to-day to align strategy initiatives that protect and develop the integrity of their brand as envisioned by Métier Creative. You will liaise between the client and Métier’s internal team to steward all advertising, marketing, photoshoots, campaigns, influencers, etc. to meet strategic objectives. You will heavily guide strategic planning as it pertains to creative execution and amplification of content rollout. You will work closely with the Associate Directors of Strategy on launching new brands from scratch, rebrands, brand partnerships, influencers mailers and activation, and more.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Concepting the brand development and social Brand Bibles for both emerging and established brands, including the communication strategy, audience development, social strategy, editorial strategy, etc.
  • Brainstorm and ideate creative campaign ideas with short-term and long-term tactical executions to ensure ripple effect engagement
  • Conduct brand-owned and competitive audits to identity areas of white-space opportunities and tactical executions
  • Demonstrate highest level of customer service; convey a polished and professional demeanor with clients during day-to-day calls, in-person meetings, on-site production and events, etc.
  • Ensure that the financial aspects of the programs/account(s) are manages according to agency procedures, SOW, etc. and liaising with the clients on any out-of-scope requests
  • Plan and execute assignments that are on strategy, time and on budget
  • Provide luxury category expertise and leadership in guiding internal teams across the agency to meet client goals ensuring that the brand strategy and objectives are being met
  • Partner with client to develop clear creative project briefs for advertising and marketing materials
  • Liaise between internal team and client for product launches, campaigns, productions, etc. Oversee internal team, budget and project management during content production process from start to finish (incl. Product pull requests, shot lists, post-production, etc.)
  • Implementing best practices for strong infrastructure and processes to improve company culture and work-flow
  • Work closely with our community manage/analysts to understand how content is performing, how our community is reacting, what is working/what is not, and identify weaknesses to optimize our strategy
  • Stay abreast of the ever-evolving digital behaviors and trends and provide ongoing creative and strategic inspiration to the team
  • Act as a digital/social media evangelist across the organization, providing guidance and education when necessary
  • Provide insight and awareness of emerging trends and technologies, identifying one’s worth pursuing
  • Motivate and manage a team of designers, writers and community manager, fostering a collaborative management style
  • Mentor and groom the team by leading by example, empowering appropriately, and holding people accountable
  • Ensure that creative quality standards are met and maintained for all projects
