The New Yeezy Campaign Involves Wearing Sneakers on the Bed and I Hate That

A new Yeezy campaign is making waves on the internet on Tuesday. Photographed by Richard Kern, the ads highlight Yeezy's Boost 350 V2 in a new "Butter" colorway. It originally kicked off with Kim Kardashian West, naturally, who posted a photo of her new Yeezys last week, which instantly went viral as a meme.

Similarly to Yeezy's "Supermoon" imagery from June, the campaign's casting involves a few Yeezy-adjacent/low-key famous faces, including YouTuber Brad Hall, Ibn Jasper (Kanye West's longtime barber and the founder of footwear brand Stratica International) and stylist and creative collaborator Knarly DB. A slew of Instamodels are also featured: Sierre Skye, Tommie Lee (of "Love & Hip Hop Atlanta" fame), Meredith Mickelson and Sami Miro.

But what's not-so-similar to "Supermoon" is the shoot's location of choice. As opposed to West's penchant for bare walls and concrete flooring, the models are sprawled out or cozied up in bed — wrinkled sheets and all — to show off their sneakers. Yes, they are wearing Yeezys on the bed and I am cringing as I type this. You know how many fuccboi-normies are going to replicate these photos themselves at home? Do you know how dirty sneakers actually are after they're worn on the street? C. diff! Ever heard of it?!

Anyway, see more of the new Yeezy "Butter" campaign in the gallery below, which will be updated as additional images are released. And while you're at it, invest in a comfy pair of house slippers. You will not regret it.
